Typealize this!

My friend Epi recently posted her Typealizer results, so I figured I'd check it out... you know... just to see. Welp, here goes...

ISTP - The independent and problem-solving type. They are especially attuned to the demands of the moment are masters of responding to challenges that arise spontaneously. They generally prefer to think things out for themselves and often avoid inter-personal conflicts.

The Mechanics enjoy working together with other independent and highly skilled people and often like seek fun and action both in their work and personal life. They enjoy adventure and risk such as in driving race cars or working as policemen and firefighters.

Hmm... not bad. It does disagree with my Myers-Briggs type, but it's accurate to a point. my MBTI is usually (90% of testst taken) INTJ... thus:

INTJ - "Mastermind". Introverted intellectual with a preference for finding certainty. A builder of systems and the applier of theoretical models. 2.1% of total population.
Free Jung Word Choice Test (similar to MBTI)

I've never gotten an "S" before. I have gotten INTP occasionally. Who knows? I thought I was the only geek that was interested in this stuff. Glad to know I have some good company! :)

Feeling Small

Ever have one of those days when the world feels so big? So big that something as small and insignificant as you just couldn't make any difference? One of those days when it seems that nothing you do will change anything, or mean anything to anyone? One of those days when you're just really quite sure that absolutely noone sees you, hears you, or gives a shit?

I'm having one of those days... today.

Pet Pogo Peeve

In those fleeting seconds where I have little or nothing to do, I play games on Pogo.com. Perhaps you do too. For those who don't... every game in Pogo has a mini-chatroom where players can, well, chat. Today as I was playing Bingo, my eyes strayed to the chat box. Lo and behold, there's some poor sap pleading with his (undoubtedly) cyber-girlfriend about how miserable his life is without her and how his wife(!!!) pays him no attention, he's worthles, blah blah blah... Now, I'm not saying that I'm unsympathetic to this poor fellow. Lord knows, after my divorce I don't wish marital/relationship strife on anyone. But Christ-on-a-stump, WHY would someone ever spew that kind of stuff out on a public chat room? There's a private chat tab 2cm away on the screen. Why oh why do people need to subject EVERYONE in the place to their personal misery. I don't wanna see the guy grovel.... I hate to see someone discard their dignity like that. Plus, it just plain spoils things for everyone in eyeshot. I had to close the game down and walk off. It was plain disgusting.

I promise I will never strew my private life out in public. For one thing, it's just that... private. But also , I'd never be so inconsiderate as to burden others with my junk. Just..... URRRGH!

Whew... just had to get that out. Have A Nice Day®. :)
